It all began when a young, sassy, New York Socialite named Lilly McKim Pulitzer opened a simple juice stand in Palm Beach in the 1950's. The citrus stains that splashed upon her clothing inspired her to create the brightly colored designs which became the unofficial uniform of the affluent at play, and Lilly's signature pink and green colors emerged as the banner of the authentic Palm Beach lifestyle.
